Book Review - HillBilly Elegy

Happy New Year Friends!

One of the most informative books I read in 2017 had to be Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance. I couldn't help but compare and contrast the blight of the Boat People, the refugees and the Hill People in this book. Given the political climate that we're in since the 2016 Election, I'm compelled to write this article on HuffPost and although it is a socio-political commentary, it could also be read as a book review which I highly recommend as a must-read.
